Class Summary: What’s an atlas and how is it different from nautical charts? What does “cartography” mean? Let’s explore the continents, oceans and our great country, the USA, as our littlest map-makers at the Schoolhouse learn about Geography! Tracing maps, charting the seas, and even sketching their street and home or memorizing their address: these are just a few activities we will engage in this year to help preschoolers understand their place in the world, making them more aware of their surroundings and how they fit in as citizens. Who were the early explorers? What makes a good navigator? Let’s find out together in Early Explorers & Little Navigators!
