Class Summary: This class will use various curriculum options found at SchoolhouseTeachers.com (parents to download or print out as needed) for different age/grade levels for participating students. Course of study will include Old and New Testament Bible stories. All students will be taught that the Jesus who was born in the New Testament is God in the flesh (come to Earth as a man) to die for the sins of the world. It is very important that our children desire to know God and to learn to walk with Him daily and trust Him, no matter what comes their way, as they are the next generation. Digging deep into His word and having open discussion and activities revolving around the Bible is the way to accomplish this objective.

Orientation: Teacher will be present to go over class essentials.

Length of Class: Two semesters (September 12-May 15)

Note from Nancy Fowler: As the grandma-teacher of the Walking with Jesus: Bible class hosted at the Come As You Are Ministry Church Schoolhouse, I invite you to sign up your K-4th grader. He or she will learn to walk daily with Jesus and know that He will never walk away from them. My desire is that this class is their favorite of all because it focuses on their great God and Savior and the study of His word. Reverence is important and we will learn a lot, but we are also going to have some fun in this class with the activities, assignments and games used during our time together!
