About the Church Schoolhouse Network
The Schoolhouse Network is a growing movement of local church-based homeschool co-ops, operating under pastoral oversight and powered by SchoolhouseTeachers.com. We are not a traditional school—we are a faith-centered community that equips parents and supports students academically, socially, and spiritually.
Purpose of this Policy
As followers of Christ, we believe that outward appearance should reflect inward respect—for God, for others, and for the learning environment. A modest, appropriate dress standard helps maintain focus, encourage mutual respect, and uphold the atmosphere of Christian discipleship we strive to maintain in every Schoolhouse.
This policy is not about rigid rules—it’s about setting a tone of honor, unity, and Christlike character.
👗 Dress Code Guidelines

- ❌ No mini skirts or short dresses (skirts/dresses must reach the knee or below while standing)
- ❌ Shorts must be Bermuda length or longer (minimum mid-thigh)
- ❌ No see-through, tight, or revealing garments
- ❌ No clothing with offensive language, secular slogans, or inappropriate graphics
- ❌ No excessively ripped or torn clothing
Layering & Coverage:
- ✔️ Modest layering is encouraged
- ✔️ Undergarments must be worn and not visible
- ✔️ Spaghetti straps and tank tops must be worn with a covering layer
